I'm getting a new Eldar army very soon. After over a month of pondering I decided the paint job will be Black and White. I was thinking black all over with white helmets... the jems will need to be colourful and I might add some yellow detail so it doesn't look realy dull. A few quick questions...
- Any tips on panting stuff black and white? Any examples?
- I want to aply a layer of gloss varnish to the black, howevr when I did that once before it got very dusty, very quickly... How can I avoid that? What Varnish should I use?
Thank you very much for any help.
Sounds pretty much like Ulthwes colour scheme. Some pics:
As for the black, i saw a fully black guardian but he only varnished the raised pads and it looked sooo sweat! Glad its not a post similar to a Black and White Space Marine on a Black and White Bike

I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand
Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.
With varnishes/glazes/washes, it helps to dry the model with a hairdryer.
Down the road, if the model gets dusty, it can be easily cleaned by blowing on it, using a soft cloth, or your hairdryer.
