Dark Angels epic army test mins

As winter sets comes around again in New Zealand I'm starting on my big winter project. I'm building the Dark Angels army one to one in epic scale. I'm using green stuff to a robs to all the marines and sand bagging up the fronts of all the armoured vehicles

Hey Z_man, those DA are looking gooood. Wherabouts in kiwiland do you reside?
The sandbags on the tanks is a neat idea, the pics are a bit fuzzy though. From what I can see they look pretty nicely done. Really interested in seeing close ups of the marines. Repz for you.

    Gotta love those "pet" projects...

I agree, your current minis look good. I can't wait to see your progress.

    I add another REP.

The first 2 potos came up nice but I think a little more trial and error is needed for the single bases. Next time we can pull the extra lights out and deal with those nasty shadows.

The more I see these guys the more I want to check ebay, damn it. Any idea how many points the Dark Angels 1:1 army is going to be... just incase.

Sknight567 are you in kiwiland also ?

I find it very easy to paint small sized mins as I'm no good at blending or shading. I just dry brushed the DA green then Thraka green wash the dry brushed them Snot green (very lightly)
