I'm thinking about incorporating a Callidus Assassin into my army, but I think the model could look a little better...
So, I'm thinking of scratch building a Callidus Assassin without the use of greenstuff, just from other figures.
Anyone have any cool ideas?
So far, I'm thinking of basing the model around the Grey Knights halberd arm (for a different flavour of weapon) and I was thinking a Japanese female Assassin theme.
I'd like to hear your suggestions on this theme, and ideas of your own themes as well!
a necromunda escher would be a neet model to use for her. Mabe even one of those repenta, just paint her with fishnet or spandex clothes ^_^
The only conversion I've done to one was add a dire avenger loin cloth to the jumping ones belt so she looks more like the standing one
Tomb Kings, Marines, Eldar
Remember that Callidus assassins are shapeshifters so she doesn't have to look even remotely like the official model. Some Calliduses can even change to non-humans; In a really old 40k fiction book there was a Callidus who had surgical implants to change into a Genestealer hybrid.
I've run across this model before: Shaena, Callidus Assassin
It's made from a Mordheim vampire. There are a lot of models that can be converted just as easily.
The rest of the page. He's making a diorama, but he's a bit slow :)
