Welcome to Librarium Online!
A few fun factoids for your Tuesday.
When you buy a GW Exorcist Kit, it comes with an entire immolator upgrade sprue, but only uses the baseplate.
Therefore, when you buy an Exorcist, you get a huge pile of Sisters vehicle upgrade bits, including pilots.
I have three Exorcists.
And never used the bits.
Oh yes, they are coming!
Heh. Flight of the Valkyries Squared.

Should be interesting, lets see what you come up with. Have you got any preliminary plans or are you going to make it up as you go?
Be sure to keep us updated on the project.
Pilot (rear seat) will be replaced with the Sister of Battle from the immolator kit. Gunner (front seat) will ge replaced with a servitor cut off at the waist and 'wired in' with wire and green stuff. Also going to try hacking the rear half of the front hatch so it's just a windscreen and the servitor is 'exposed' to the elements. Going to try to replace the hatch pieces entirely with Ink Jet transparencies with heads-up displays printed on them.
The two Heavy Bolter armed sisters are going to be placed in the side doors on 'Sponson' duty. Magnetized, as I would rather like that $32 worth of models to also still be usable as normal in a sisters army .
Forgeworld SoB icons will replace the Aquillas. I'm hoarding the =][= icons off those sets to do a straight Inquisitorial Valk later.
Going to do green stuff wild rose icon for the sliding doors, as seen on my Rhino here:
except I'm going to take the time to do it on a disc of plasticard and make a mold this time so I don't have to keep rescultping it
Wings I will try to just stencil and hand paint the iconography. I think anything raised would look odd on the wings.
Custom =][= plate for the rear door, like the front of this rhino.
Those Rhinos are over three years old, so part of this project is a chance to revisit doing the custom iconography armed with whatever additional skill and technique I have amassed in the time between.
Still mulling over ideas to make the Hellstrikes look more gothic.
Most Sisters/Witch Hunter iconography is based around a lot of scrolls/texts/books/purity seals etc etc hanging off of things. This presents a bit of a challenge, as while those work fine on lumbering tanks, they just seem to look 'wrong' on a plane that ostensibly goes fast enough they'd all rip off.
1. I am really looking forward to see what you do with this project.
2. From the reply above.........Its funny how some ppl confuse the IMP with Chaos....lol
IF you didnt know your Warhammer 40K, you would think that the SOB and the =I= are crazy nutjobs or something akin to insane killers........
Add armour plates and paint giant murals on them. (or print pictures off and attach them to the panels)
I see an interesting idea brewing...
Giving you a pre-REP point! Hehe.
Just finished taking the Valk off-sprue and cleaning it up. I did a dry fit with the Sister of Battle as pilot and I'm all giddy now. She fits in there like a dream, it's like the person who did the valk kit is secretly a SoB player and wanted this to be doable I'm really excited about this now. Will post some pics when I get it glued and the GS for the servitor done
