I have been looking around for airbrush stuff today and I think Iíve decided on what I want. now that said I would like your help evaluating what Iím buying(or rather have bought for me, Birthdays are awesome =D)
After some thinking and browsing Iím looking at these :
Thatís the DA300r Paasche compressor and an ECL4500 HP-CS ECLIPSE IWATA AIRBRUSH
I have only used the GW spray gun, with air cans, a few times and decided it was not worth the effort. its to much work to fiddle with and get it all working before I had to switch cans and even then it was hardly worth it for base coating a few tanks (hardly base coated could use another coat or two)
So in the end I really just want to know if these two would be good
thanks for any help,
DA300R and an HP-CS Eclipse? Good???
Not even close. Great is more the word you're after - that's a really nice combo.
Just beware - the Eclipse will do awesome stuff, but you've gotta treat it right. Properly thinned paint, diligent cleaning and maintenance, the whole nine yards. The GW spraygun is a sledgehammer, the Eclipse is a scalpel - a real piece of precision gear. Treat it accordingly!
ok change of plans for both airbrush and compressor.
the compressor we got from a friend its a senco 1010 Senco PC1010 - Air Compressor
and i think im going to go for the Universal 360-7 Item Detail
the gravity and botom feed sounds interesting, also is it was easier to find a set, iwata had kits that come with the compressors.
Hmmm that compressor doesn't mention if it has a moisture trap or not...
Personally I bought this for compressor. Pretty silent and work perfectly.

I Run an Iwata Sprint jet Compresssor with a moisture trap and use an Iwata Revolution airbrush. The Revolution is the slightly cheaper one than the eclipse and I am really happy with it but I now wish I had spent a little extra to get the eclipse.
