I like how you did his skin, very cool colors. 2 points of criticism:
1. His teeth are too white! What, did he get them bleached? same with the nails
2. You make it a hell of a lot easier on yourself if you base, and undercoat the base, before you start on the actual model.
Good luck with the other reptiles!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

The Dutch Legion
The tongue also looks like it could use some extra colors... I know reptiles often have brightly, or oddly colored tongues, but it just looks like a splash of paint not a tongue. That could be the angle of the picture, however. Otherwise a very nice model.
I like, but more picks would be nice.
I almost never base first, I might start but on something big and heavy like that the "sunk in" feel from basing after would look good IMHO
also I will third the toning down of the claws/teeth too bright wash it with some Gryphonne Sepia
(easiest bone color ever-> bleach bone, wash gryphonne sepia, highlight bleach bone, extreme highlight white)
Thanks for all the comments so far.
I will definately work on the teeth/claws.
I'll try and get some more pictures up here soon.
You have achieved what you wanted! The skin looks very realistic! great job! I like that the end result is a bit glossy! very reptilian!
