Think I could pas off some Necron Scarabs, with a whole bunch of green stuff, to be a Tomb King Tomb Swarm?
I'll get to posting a picture eventually...
Add some skeleton bones and a few minor modifications and I think you could pass it off.
Looks good, just don't paint them metalic. I'd go for more of a stone look. Possibly jade or some ceramic.
Yuh, i dunno... To me, they are still too futuristic looking, kinda like giving an Empire engineer a plasma gun...
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

The Dutch Legion
It's looking pretty good. I would suggest filling in the squared edges on the body with green stuff. If you could smooth these out (or just fill in completely) it would look less robotic.
was thinking just that. I'm also going to paint the green stuff a grey and then the swarm a white-ish. Afterwards I'm just gonna dip the whole thing ^^
Can you paint them in marble-effect? With gemstone eyes? I seem to remember a chap in "The Mummy" finding what looked like decorative amulet things that were just inert scarabs. Should be sweet.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
