I just found a bunch of pics of my imperial fists!
So I figure it's time for an unashamed showcase.
It's an army I put together for a tournament early this year, and gave myself about 2 weeks to get it all painted.
Probably got the vast amount done over 2 days! Problem with that - the army actually looks a little rushed. Just askin if you guys can easily tell?
Still, at least they're done, so i've an army to play with apart from my Skitarii! Now to get cracking on my Ultramar IG.
P.S Sorry about the quality - they're not too bad for phone snaps, but still!
Anyways, Here's the whole army as a group. There's also 6 objectives there- 3 mechanicus tank crewmen, a statue, a computer terminal, and ammo crates.
Next up, the various army sergeants and the commander: (My apologies for the out of focus shots, the light seems a little weird too.)
Following that, the commander himself! I got him to do a piruette for me, saucy minx that he is:
Then we have a random marine, I really need to add tactical squad decals to some of these:
And the scout squad, front and back pics:
And here's one of the sergeants before I gave him a white veteran stripe on his helmet. A slightly better pic this time, I think: (Although, i think I've posted this one up sometime before...)
And here's the ironclad, before I ripped off the two hunterkillers and painted it:
So whatdja think? I'm pretty happy for a several day painting effort!
Note: I will never show close ups of the drop pods 'till I repaint them, they're pretty embarrassing, I must admit.
P.S I'm having trouble uploading to the warhammer 40K showcase, I've posted in the site feedback forum, but not sure whats going on. Is there an overhaul or something happening?

"Pickles, the drummer, doodily doo. (Ding-dong, doodily, doodily, doo.)"
Also, you should google "garfield minus garfield". Awesome.
Great work mate - a really lovely army that you can be proud of! The fact that you managed to get it mostly done in two days is pretty mind blowing, especially considering how good the yellow is. What is you method for that by the way?
I'm also in awe of the Dreadnaught, its really stunning. How was the hammer made?
All in all, a great job, have some rep!
Some fantastic inspiring stuff mate.
good work. Done a real good job painting that yellow. Nice modeling too love the dred.

Nice, I like the yellow - did you build that up from a brown or something?
Very cool army if you ask me! They look quite excellent. Would love a close-up of the painted Ironclad.
Fantastic looking army mate. Very impressive for the time span, or otherwise. Can you give me a recipe break down on your yellow?
Joe Peshi (lone wolf) kill tally:Lash Sorcerer, Ghazkull, Yriel, Termi Libby, Vulkan.
Nice work! Even more impressive for just a few days effort, it would take me much longer than that to paint up an army to a similar standard. They don't really look rushed from what I can see.
Thou shalt remember:
Warhammer Fantasy armies do NOT have Codices. They have Army Books.

Looks pretty damn good, especially for a short term paint job, lovin that ironclad.
