I had afew questions about the infantry squads for the DKoK Gorgon, and this was the best place i could think of asking about it. I know that the 50 guardemen come togeather in stands, I was wondering if anyone knew how easy, or hard it was to cut and seperate them out into their own free standing guardsmen. How much green stuff work might be needed after their freed from eachother. I mean, if i can get away with getting 50 at ease for $75, instead of $275 im going to try and go for that.
And please, dont tell me to search the forums before asking a question. Im too lazy to do that! But in all honesty, just be nice.

Oh.. but i dont look so good with all those.. tentaclly things..
I've thought of doing this, but it would looks pretty boring and would take huge amounts of GS.
Not easy cutting them apart. You would need to cut off sides and arms of people, then try to sculpt them back on (and yes, sculpting can be difficult). It would take maybe 2 ribbons of GS if you buy the crappy GW stuff.
Even if you do finish, you have a platoon of Krieg soldiers who look bored on the battlefield.
Sleeping, not dead.

If you were EXTREMELY careful with your cuts, and used a very durable knife, you could probably separate them quite close to their "original" uniforms. That would leave you to fill gaps with GS.
You're going to have a bunch of static poses though. That would be my biggest deterrent.
You're saving about $16 rather than just buying 10 stands of Imperial Guard (obviously, you save alot if you're dead set on making a DKoK army), and you have to factor in the cost of GS, and the cost of blades, times, and the high number of bandages that you'll probably be applying to your hands.
Doable- certainly. Advisable- not really.
I won't tell you to use the search function, but I will tell you that there was exactly the same thread a while back that if I remember correctly received some quite helpful replies.
