Well while I do enjoy this hobby, I do have another love that involves painting. However, this one doesn't involves brushes.
Here's my instrument of choice for applying my choice colors;
Inga and I out examining the local "pallete":
Yes, she's a beauty. I'm able to apply colors with her at about 18 per second. She's a wonderful gal to work with. I'll give a demonstration on some models this week. Keep lookin'!
Is this one of those "airbrushes" I've been hearing so much about?
lol, have fun with your target practice

Oh and I will!
But the point of this thread is that I'm about to repaint my marker for the season. Starting tomorrow, Inga will be getting another paint job so I can blend better in the woods. However, I want to have some fun with it. I want to maybe incorporate some part of this hobby with paintball.
Anyway ideas? I was thinking of maybe putting some sort of insignia on my marker as well as my new mask that will be here on the 1st of June.
Inga before the paint job:
Here's the mask:
I'd like to keep the mask the olive color as well as my marker. That color really helps blend in. I thought about maybe doing some dry brushing on the marker to make it look worn a little.
Let me know.

How about the inperial eagle?
Vampire Counts Progress Log [W:2 D:1 L:1]
Thanks for the compliment .
The hopper is about as tall as the sight, it holds roughly 200 rounds, but I may put a smaller hopper on it so that it's lighter while I can carry more paint in my pack as I go. We only play matches where you can have only 200 rounds on you, so I'll be good either way.
I was thinking about putting an imperial eagle either on my mask or on the marker. If it were going to go on the marker, I was thinking maybe the stock or on the body some place. I also had another idea where I'd make a template of it and create a camouflage of it all over my gun.
Here's the template:
I'd do it by this means:
*Paint the marker all tan.
*Take the Imperial Eagle templates (Not sure how many or how big) and apply them securely all over the marker.
*Paint the entire marker olive, and wait for the paint to dry.
*After the paint has cured, pull the templates off carefully and walah! We have camouflage but also the Imperial Eagle.
Aside from doing the Imperial Eagle, I was thinking about maybe using some others instead:
What do you guys think?

I agree an imperial eagle would look really cool.

And that's that. It's going to go on the side board of my helmet and I'm going to freehand it on the marker some where.
Anyways, I decided to go with a tiger-striped look as I play in thick stuff normally. Aside from that, the design looks pretty cool if done right. Now to the pics....
Not quite done yet as I'm going to add a few more layers of clear coat. Then I'll put her back together and see how she looks.
