...in Green. Green is far more magical Really interesting to paint, I tried to go from white -> dark green but it didn't work out, so I highlighted up instead of down. Pretty pleased with the result!
Pictures would be better if camera hadn't been stolen on the tube (sigh), but these are the best I can do for today:
I quite like it, a nice take o an old idea. I would say maybe you could try mixing in a little more white around the edges, just to make those individual flames pop a bit more, at the moment they seem a little flat-coloured.

Ooh, nice concept. I agree with ArtificiallyEnhanced on highlighting the individual flames a bit whit a shade mixed with white.
Just to echo the others as well, bright the highlights up a little bit further. There is one other thing though, unless his tunic (top) is actually covered in flames, I think it should have been done in a different colour. At the moment it just blends into the flames too much and looks like part of them. If this was the point, then well done, but to my eyes it would have been better if the top was a slightly different shade of green.
Very mystical - really like it. But can't disagree with the above comments. Thanks for sharing.
