Welcome to Librarium Online!
I want to include an autocannon in my CCS now but I don't like the models. I actually had an Eldar player at one time tell me that my autocannon team "couldn't possible get up and move." Luckily it didn't turn into a rules debate because he was serious and honoestly I can't blame him. The autocannon looks like it weights 200 lbs. This is my attempt to give mine a more mobile look.
The autocannon is upside down. I shortened the barrel and glued the flash suppressor back on. The biped comes in the HW kit. I shaved the upside down badging off and cut the top of the ammo drum and then glued it over where the badging was so that it looks like an edjection port. I glued some plastic under it to look like caseings.
Looks good, but it would take me a while to figure out its an auto cannon.
Yeah, the actual autocannon looks a tad heavy for the ML stand. It's creative, nontheless. However, I like the normal autocannon model.
it has an autocannon barrel, and an autocannon mag on the side, how hard can it be to recognize its an autocannon???
Looks fine to me, kinda reminded me of the Warthog Gauss Rifle off Halo, but a mobile version
Looks darn cool and quite creative if you ask me!!
I like the creativity of it! although i do prefer the normal model.. also it just dawned on me... WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU WANT TO MOVE A HEAVY WEAPON TEAM! its always best to simply stand and shoot the hell out the the enemy when playing with guard. I also think that it could move it would simply take both guardsmen to pick it up.
But none the less... Jobs a Good Un!
Sometimes the best defense is a good offense... Wait, what?
I'm glad you guys seem to like it and I hope I inspire somebody to make their army look a little better one way or the other.
It's nice to see someone else do something interesting with HW teams. +rep!
