Here's a link to some 40k buildings I made. I made some about 6 months ago. And some last week.

Comments/Criticism/Suggestions would be welcomed.
They look good, I always like to see city terrain with a bit of hight, even if you never get to use the upper levels they look a lot cooler than 1 level buildings.
Do you have a pic of them all together?
All they need now is LOTS of bullet holes!
It's a great start. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Outpost will turn out. Keep posting pictures.

Strange things lurk in the deep places of the world. - Check out my Blog
I'll work on them/make more next weekend. Then put up pics.
I'll definitely put bullet holes in.
So, that being said:
I love the way you used actual balsa for the window sills, and the thin wooden skewers for the rebar is a nice touch. Not alot of scenery guys go thinking past "it's a building" and take the time to think or even research what's used in a building today , (rebar, concrete, stucco, aluminium , steel. etc.
(usually you'll get a response like this: " It's the year 40,000. they've moved beyonf concrete rebar and stucco and- cough cough urk, help!" well, that's what I get in response, because i usually start choking them shortly after that reply leaves their mouths )
Rome wasn't built in a day, Either should good scenery.
As you might have been able to see. I got a lot better at making buildings recently. Compared to the 2008 ones.
Anyway, I was thinking of trying to use effects to get a more realistic building feel. But to keep it practical might be difficult. (Metal plating, vents, etc)
The next step is to fix all the old buildings, and add pipes
After that, I'm doing a refinery piece. But that might have to wait due to exams etc.

i think not many people research it because there is no guideline for buildings.
that said, they are very good. as said earlier, Bullet Holes are a good idea.
keep at it
"Hmmm. Maybe we should try that again." "Oh, for Emperor's sake, do I have to do everything myself?" "Asuryshan XXII at your service"
