Oy, so I decided when I found my old Republican attack cruiser that I should paint it, so I thought to myself. "hmm, should I or shouldn't I put up a painting log for once?"
So as you might see I decided to actually make a painting log following my progress on the Attack cruiser.
To start with some unneccesary info about it I got it about 4 years ago for christmas and I don't know what I was on at that time but I painted green stripes on it... *sigh*
It's about 30-40cm long and made of plastic. Just the size makes me hesitate to paint it but the thought of how awesome it'll be keeps me inspired.
So it's one of these I'm gonna paint.
But currently mine looks like this
So as you can see those 30-40cm is actually quite big.
This'll be fun thou, I'll keep the thread updated as the progress goes on.
That looks like an ace sculpt! I'll be following this.
Are you going to paint it like the "official" version?
This is a cool 'little' project you got here.
I always wanted the attack cruiser kit. I have a plastic AT-AT model kit which comes pre painted but i always to 'improve' it myself, you have inspired me to start.
Good Luck on your log!
I AM BOOMER!
DMC@ Indeed I am, can't think of anything else and can only see it as a rape on star wars(it is raped enough by games) so the only thing I'll add is probably the name "Mystery shadow" which I find awesome.
Boomer@ Thanks, nice to hear from someone else that have/wants star wars models.
Dream thief@ Thanks.
Demon in white@ I'm painting it in the official colours(see first pic)
Ok so I'm certain this log will be kept alive by... me, so I'll give you some pics on what I did both yesterday and today.
Added some red on it since I think the left side is near done and only a few clean ups remain, so now I got red to clean!
So that's the update for today from my side, now I guess I'll go back to writing school stuff again...

That is an interesting and unusual project you have going on here. I look forward to your progress. One thing I'd like to say though, is I prefer thedarker/duller red of the centre stripe rather than the bright red of the fin. That red is too bright and clean to my eyes.
