I bought this character because I like the model, beautiful and yet dark and conceited being his fluff and modelled to that brilliantly.
I painted this guy indoors at night. and he looks good and then I take him outside and it just exposes all his flaws... still I'm quite pleased with how he turned out, one of my best so far.
Dear Game Developer,Caps-Lock, its like cruise-control for AWESOMENESS!
Rock is cheese, Paper is just fine
WWP and other Dark Eldar how to
Wow, really nice, i like how you managed to get purple into the gaps of the armour (or am i just seeing things? ), but the thing your missing is...THE BASE, it looks a little incomplete at the moment and i think its beacause of the base.
And also the face is really nice, did you use greens to shade it?
EDIT: Ahhh, i see mould line!!!!!!!!!
Come and join the YoungBloods social group!
haha yes there is a mold line, though I dont think it takes away from the fantastic model that much.
The colors are spot on for how a chaosy-vampirish model should look, and the armor and skin are great. As the above poster said, get that bad boy on a nice base and it should be good to go. Maybe you want highlight the sword a little more, and maybe a wash on the cloak?
