I've recently started a new project and I'm having a little bit of trouble finding the right highlight for one of my colours. GW's Charadon Granite. Its being used as a flesh colour, so im after subtle highlight, but it has to be the same "tone" (a greyish greenie kinda colour).
Anyone know a paint that would work? Im trying to avoid mixing, as foundation paints dry so fast when you try to mix them out of the pot.
Please don't ask for a picture or anything, as I don't have a camera at the moment, but once i do I will be starting a project blog and you can see the woe's of a poor gamer who hasn't painted in over 10 years...
I agree mixing in bone white gradually will give you a good highlight. For the last highlight you can always mix in a touch of white as well. You should always water down your paints some so that they go on semi-translucent.
