Rome wasn't built in a day, Either should good scenery.
i promised i'd vote, so here i am. My vote goes to Magus_arts for his excellent weathering, cunning use of wood and a great tutorial. Well done to all who entered.
my runners up are stayscrunchyinmilk for his large-scale and impressive work, and bugbait for his cool waagh! banner.
This was probably the hardest competition to judge a winner in that I have ever seen here on LO. I really couldn't decide.
However, I had to force myself and it ultimately came down to bugbait's entry. I love DOW and I love Orks. That's why.
Nevertheless, I want to give comments on everyone's entries.
Magus_Arts: I really, really liked yours. A very creative idea and you went totally outside the box with the materials. Great job.
stayscrunchy: Love it. Great. The barn looks real nice, especially the roof, and the fences are a simple but nice touch.
charger450: Really impressive piece of work. And it's Orky. Bonus!
miasma: That jetty is awesome. The water is especially impressive.

Wow, these are all really cool
The one i decide to vote for may not be the "best", but it will be my favourite
Magus_Arts: Simple, yet very effective. I love the weathered look of the box.
stayscrunchy: Wow, practically a whole battlefield there! Very nice shed, good attention to detail.
charger450: Great job! Looks very Orky, kinda "unfinished" (in a good way!)
miasma: Great piece of work, the "worn" look of the wood and the water around the posts give it a subtle realism.
bugbait: What can i say, having just spend 2 days playing Dawn of War, this piece makes me happy lol. Very Orky.
Magus_Arts: great attention to detail, while keeping it unclutered
stayscrunchy: My personal fav. Very realistic and well put together.
charger450: Very Orky!
miasma: Great job on the water effects.
bugbait: Close runner up. real nice job
#25 - Relation to the original topic decreases with every single post.
Magus_Arts: The use of wood chips as rock turned out great and the worn appearance on the great just looks amazing.
stayscrunchy: I really like your entry the most it has a very realistic appearance and i could personally see this matching well with my game board.
charger450: This is a very cool entry and looks like it would be a great addition to any game.
miasma: The water effect is looking great, i like the addition of the lamp post as it gives this piece more realism
bugbait: The painting looks great on this.
Well my final vote is going to go to stayscrunchyinmilk i really like the amount of detail the barn has as it looks realistic.
Each entry has something that I love and will probably try to use one day, Magnus's crate is great, the eagle looks like it has been burnt in.
Stayscrunchy's barn is cool, the shingles on the roof really stand out for me.
Chargers fort fits in well with the rest of his terrain, I have been meaning to make some of those rock strata piles myself one day, WAAAAGH!
Miasmas jetty is oh so nice, do you have anything else to go with it? a steampunk boat would be nice to see, would be good for Warmachine!
Thanks all for sharing how you did what you did!
(Wondering why Sho didnt join in, better be because he was working on something awesome . . .)
Is it water effect?
Is it Modular?
Is it electrical?
Is it metal?
Is it Multi storey?
Is it including interiors?
Is it using round shapes?
Is it triangles?
Is it using rocks?
Is it using cars?
Is it using plastic?
Is it using jungle? (I wish)
Is it using religious building of some sort?
Is it using a prison of some type?
Must it be useable in 40k and WFB?
(Almost scratches, but doesn't)
Thankyou for the comments, all entrants won as we got awsome scenery bits.
