Been a long time since i have been on here, but have finished an ork nob as a present for my little brother. He's 12 years old and recieved the AoBR box set for Xmas, and needed a little inspiration.
First time painting orks, there is a really good painting masterclass article in WD351, that I used as a starting point. Really happy with how the yellow armour turned out, also learned the importance of thinning down paints to achieve subtle layering.
That looks really nice mate, love the tone you've got on the skin. The checks were a nice touch aswell. Little bits of detail really bring models to life.
Cheers and rep

That is a nice ork. I like the green tone of the skin - not too dark nor to bright really. Nice work. I'm sure your brother will love his gift. =)
A very nice crisp scheme- good work.
