Not been about the painting board in ages so I've got some shiny things to show off. Yeah i do paint stuff as well as just loitering around here.
He's for no particular chapter or army thats why he's not based yet (i need to decide which army gets the honour of having him)
Think i'll be using him as Captain Lysander as he looks to nails to just be some normal Chaplin. Plus his two handed Crozius gets to be used as a Master Crafter Str10 Chunder Hammer. I think thats just fitting........
I'm currently working on a squad of Pre-Heresy style Terminators to go with him. Making all those tassels out of Plasticard.......... Well thats why they ain't done......

Nice work man, I really like that paint job. got any others to show us?
holy cow! is he pointing at *gulp* me?
great job, very nice looking model.
Cool i like it, not the white so much but the rest i really cool, nice colours as well. Thw white looks a bit flat, some more shade should make the white look better IMO. The text on the "scrolls" or what they are called in 40k looks really good.
Keep the paint diluted and thin :)

Speaking of which, how did you get a blank chest?
dude that is one sick-looking chaplain, you use green-stuff for the cloak?
FOR THE GREAT SANGUINIUS AND THE EMPEROR....red and black all the way.

That's a cool model. I really like the pose of it, it looks very alive. I think that having a Chaplain point at me would be scary. I like the staff/crozius.
I really like it!
However.. straight up white is hard for me to enjoy. Have you seen the "menoth white wash" that Privateer Press (P3) paints have? It is fantastic and does WONDERS to solid blocks of white.
However... the paint job is sexy. Reps!
