I need another project to distract me from my monty python bretonnians so I've gone back to playing my pure night goblins. I picked up a giant the other day and got to thinking...Make him look like a night goblin, or model him with his hand down his pants? Looked at the model and considered the work involved and decided on the later of the choices. What do you guys think?
You can still have his hand down his trousers AND make him look like a goblin!
You can give him a hood, that shouldn't be to hard.
You could have goblins painting him green or have him painting himself. But miss off bits that he can't see like his back, the back of his head and obviously the hand that he holds the paint brush (sheep) in.
You could even do a little goblin tower strapped to his shoulder/back.
"The choice, as they say, is yours"
My second giant will look like a gobbo. Anyway here's pics, hope you like him!
Note: I'm not great with greenstuff...yet.
lol that looks awesome. And I wouldn't want a slap by that hand!
I don't know a huge amount about Night Goblins but I think they have a things about spiders and mushrooms. You could try to add spiders and mushrooms to the base or the Giant to make him look more like the Goblins.
I'm glad you like it :p The guy on the base running makes it if you ask me. I didn't take a side shot but there arn't any gaps or anything and the arm flows right into his pants. And since it fits in the rules set, as giants do stuff things in their pants, I can actually use it on the table! But I'm rambling, thanks again.
It might be a while before I get my second giant to model like a NG, but he's going to have a plasticard robe and hood. Until then just enjoy this one :p (it is pretty entertaining)
sorry for the double post just moving it up so a friend can see it.
While I'm at it and posting though I was curious what you guys would think of a giant with a gimp mask, and a chain with a bunch of NG's hanging on. Then when a game starts grimgor (my general) can say, "bring out the gimp! Waaagh!"
Noteulp Fiction is a favorite of mine, I know its wrong, lol.
