Edit: I've just added the next two marines to page 3
A little while ago I started a huge project for Movie Space Marines. Anyone who knows the army list will know that around ten marines is a 1500-2000 point army.
So I decided to spend as much time on them as I would on a normal 1500-2000 point army. I'm going for overloaded with detail on all of them.
Here's the sergeant. I did not get a picture of his green:
Here are the greens:
I'll be posting as I paint them up.
Whoa, I am seriously impressed - how long did they take you!
I envy your amazing use of green stuff
I like the second guy, looks like a grizzled veteran
good luck with the painting!
For get your Mr T, John Mayer leaks pure awesomeness with every note he plays.
Rep well deserved!
Love them all, they look like they took a lot of work as you said but came out nicely. I like the big chunky missile launcher you have on one of them and the executioner-like look of the marine with the shield. Flames coming out of the flamer are nice without being too gigantic as some people have done in the past.
Only small thing I noticed that threw me off a little bit was the guy holding the head in his hands is wielding his knife/sword backwards. Did you intend that and if so I'm a little curious why you did it. I guess it isn't completely unheard of to wield a weapon like that but it just seems like he would be holding it like you would for scalping or sawing off a head.
Also, what is up with the ninja in the first pic? =p . is that just some watermark? I thought it was a scale marker at first which would've made them some incredibly sized marines.
(2nd pic from the bottom if you can't find it)

Ok, you mean this guy:
Well, he's using that huge blade underhanded like a knife. Technically, all movie marines have combat knives as their close combat weapons, and I wanted to find an exaggerated version of this. But the bladed edge is away from him, so he could swing it different ways.
Oh, and I forgot a couple:
They all look awesome. Really bulky and lots of detail, love them! I havnt heard of this movie marine thing, but i can imagine. :p
Wow, these are very cool looking. Very busy as well, with loads of additional items on them; but it sort of adds to the idea of an elite team capable of taking care of anything that crosses their path. I am looking forward to seeing them done.
