The pattern in the large gem with the grid over it looks like multiple small gems, not one big one.

The double tracks look good and I love the paint job, very smooth!

That's good looking. I like the paint job it has, the black works well with the metal areas. I like what you have done with the tracks. I think it makes it look bigger. I'm curious, is this a converted Leman russ or some kind of special tank I don't know about.

@Marrius. LOL, yeah me either. They are usually Drybrush tastic and the metal inked to death. This boy is going in my Kasrkin force. My love of these models means they get a better paint job than most.

@Leech. First off thanks. Second, This is just a Demolisher. Personally i don't think the Russ model is big enough. Especially with it's new rule. All i've done is Doubled up the tracks to make the tank wider and then cut and pasted two sets of track guards. The trackguards make the whole hull look bigger. Which is good.
The Dozer Blade is off a Space Marine Vindicator Tank which fitted scarrily well. The eye slits lined up, so did the light shields and the hull hounted Bolter too. Weird. Luckily i've managed to scrounge 2 of the Blades off a GW staffer mate so i only need to buy one Vindicator... £30 for a 10pt upgrade *sigh*

@Matus, Cheers mate. lol it really bugs me when the paint job isn't smooth. Woe to any grain of sand that gets into a paint job.

I'll take some more pics when i've done the whole Squadron.

That tank reminds me of the giant Leman Russ in the back of the old Imperial Guard Collectors' Guide which I believe the guy called the 'King Russ'... I like it anyway!

me being me, i think it's abit too black templar-ish, mainly beucase i have placed with black tanks for the past 6 years.
I was thinking of the many colour schemes for my going to be guard tanks and i wanted to see examples and by the emperor's grace.

I have seen some, after seeing them, i ahve decided black isn't the colour of a guard army that i want, the decision wasn't due to your painting skills. Which by the way are very good.

    thanks

Great spin on a model that is otherwise pretty trite. Like the dark paint scheme.
