Here's what I have painted and based from my army so far. I wanted to post these pics because these models wouldn't have been possible without the awesome help of the people in this forum who were so helpful in directing how to make my vision a working reality.

Very nice indeed. The snow bases work really well and the blue tinge ties all the units together really nicely.
You also have a very neat style, which always helps minis look better.
If I was going to offer one suggestion it would be to look at the highlighting for your flesh tones, i think it would improve them even further.
But very nice work.

thanks guys! My highlighting has gotten better since I started, but only my most recent figures reflect that, so I should probably go back and touch up my earlier stuff. =)
I think they look quite good. The bases are especially top-notch!
As for improvement, I think you should look into the (fairly new) Citadel washes. The Badab Black and Devlan Mud (when used in sparse amounts...) could help you a lot with the shading and highlighting process, especially on the metallics.
As stated before, nice snow effect. I also liek how the blue and gold contrasts with each other, and said snow.
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
