Welcome to Librarium Online!
Here is my 1st night of work, and Ill be updating everyone after every night of work.
1. Old Neverwinter Nights game disc.
2. Center portion of a mason jar lid
3. Old baked beans take out bowl
4. SECRET INGREDIENT!!!!!!!!!
First few steps:
Cut of the lip of the bowl, and sanded the bumps with my trusty Drimmel.
I took a Quik Trip lid (stuff number 5) and shoved that into the bowl and added glue which is being left to dry. These are used to add height to the inside of the platform.
I then painted glue onto the Secret Ingredient to add strength to the material.
This picture is a wrap up and a portion of the final step.
I glued the Mason jar lid to the old gaming CD.
Posted this and now taking a break for the night.
Good work so far.
Is it going to be 3 rolls high?
What gaming system is it for?
I have found that polyurethane varnish is good for strengthning up card, paint sticks OK, not sure about most glues.
Itty bitty images, such a shame . . .
To answer your questions, no it is not going to be 3 high, MAYBE 1 and a half, most likely just the one.
Definitely for 40K. Everything is going to have a spray of a generic flat spray paint, on top of the glue, which I used a few times before.
Im hoping to have a battery charger for my real camera soon, so I can stop having to use my phone camera.
