I always liked the idea of using Fenrisian Wolves and one day in a hobby shop I found a few dire wolves. These have been painted for a long time, both were originally brown but I wanted to try a more snowy-themed fur color. White seemed the best
Let me know what you think so far, and don't worry they aren't done yet so thats why they look just a tad sloppy and the brown one's base isn't painted.
Thanks for looking and I'll try and update when they look more complete
They are off to a good start but the poor things have no tails! I think that you should make sure the ears are a different colour from the rest of the fur. You could make the lighter or darker, ears on animals that have fur are often a bit different. Their legs could do with some shading, an ink wash would do it quickly. I think they are good though, the snow on the bases is a nice touch.
Yea the tails...sorta...fell off
My fluff excuse is that in battle, the tails are usually the first to go...
The ear thing is good advice...I had never even considered that!
Thanks, glad you like 'em so far
