Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well this is what has taken me the best part of over a year to complete, well almost (ten men need a splash of paint and basing). I was wanting to wait until I had finished but since I don't know when I will be buying any more paints thought I would post now. So without further ado....

Looks like you got a pretty nice IG force there! Your painting looks really good!
I love your Cadian/Catchan mix for your vets!
So thats what a painted Guard army looks like is it? I was starting to wonder.
They're looking good mate and they look very effective all together. I'm really liking the FW Kasrkin heads on the Catachan bodies. That looks cool.
You did confuse me though. All the pics are dated 2007 so i was wondering how you got the new plastics 2 years before the release date....... But then i stoped being thick.
A lot of nice, subtle conversions. I especially like the posing on the sentinels and the plasma guns.
Well done! I can easily elieve it took you that time. I started a Guard army a couple of years back and threw the towel in long before I finished. I'm getting back on the wagon now with a completed basic platoon but even they have takeme a good while. So again well done!
I like the look of the whole force, I'm also going to mix a little Catachan in with the Cadians to liven them up a little so mice to see it can work real well. I think my fave part is the damage on the side of the cockpit on the second Valk.
Good luck on the table!
Thanks for the compliments.
I aimed to pretty much convert the whole army and I have used all sorts really that I could lay my hands on, probably the only miniature not converted is the CC, the metal Cadian officer is just to cool as he is.
As it is I have finished the army now. Only the Valkyrie bases need attention and that is giving me a headache working out what to do with them.
I bet it feels good having gone from guys in plastic sprues to a fully modeled and painted army. I expect it will take me at least several months to get my army to where I want them.
I think we all know that an army is never complete! You may say they are finished, but a few months from now you will get the ache to want to paint again
Well I have a few pieces I want to paint for display, so should keep me occupied. I do have an Imperial Fist army semi planned out but I'll probably end up buying a few of the new IG kits coming out. On the rock & roll (dole) at the present time, though, so cash is hard to come by.
