Hi Guys, I consider myself a reasonable painter when on form but I'm rubbish at matching colours...
Usually my wife helps but she is away with work.
This DP is by no means finished and I am primarily looking for colour matching advice although any other comments appreciated.
I am happy with the armour (although this could go brighter if needed) and trim colour but I'm not to sure about the skin colour and how it works with the other bits.
Leave it as it is
Repaint it black/dark grey
Paint it bright red/yellow like the face
suggest another colour.
Thanks as always and aplogies for blurry second pic - camera died
I actually like the skin colour. It kinda ties in the yellow and the red you have going on.
I think the skin colour you have is good. If you want to change it you could either do it a pale flesh tone which would give a very good contrast with the armour and wings. Or you could try simple black but I think balck would be rather dull and not allow for the details to be visible.
Who is the bloke in the second picture behind the Daemon prince? He looks cool.
Thanks for the replies guys., seems most people like the skin as it is.
I may highlight the armour up to a higher level instead?
Any other ideas?
The dude is a Horus someone greened, casted and sold a few years ago... He's not quite finished and needs loads of blood all over him
