Don't know if this should go here but does anyone know if Perry Miniatures 28mm models are reasonably compatible with those of GW in terms of scale. They are probably not given how cheap they are £15 for 40 figs (sorry if prices are not allowed). Just figured they might be as they are sculpted by the same sculptors, the Perry twins, lovely looking models though.

Never seen them, but if you're sure they're 28mm, then they're the exact same scale as GW, as I recall, so they'll fit right in in terms of size.
Course, this would only be for friendly games, as tournaments have much stricter standards on such things.
I've not painted any Perry miniatures myself, but I have been told by others that they are the scale as GW minis. I have heard of them being used for Imperial Guardsmen, but I haven't seen it done yet.
Space Marines are supposed to be huge, though, so they make poor comparisons (true-scaling is usually used to make a space marine's space marine, but I think their scale is about right most of the time).
From that pic, it looks to me like the Perry miniatures are less exaggerated (his hands are a little smaller than the guardsman's, and his weapon is definitely smaller). I still think that they'll work just fine.
Can someone post some decent pics of these perry miniatures?

Are they the same size as lord of the rings miniatures, smaller hands and head etc
