I've been talking to rabbit and, because there's a competition in the painting and scenery forums, why not one here? So, first I want to see if there's interest. If there is then I'll start the competition.
i think a friendly competition would be a great idea! if not for fun, it could inspire alot of great ideas... perhaps i could try my hand at modelling, just for kicks
I think it would be a great idea. I'm not the best at modelling, and whether I take part is another question, but there are a lot of people on these boards who enjoy converting. A competition may give people a way of showing off what they can do, and may encourage people to get their Green Stuff out! It may also give people new ideas for their forces from what people show in the competition.
Anyway, it's a yes from me!
Why all the no's guys? Why no reason? Is it just the people that don't like me or something?
I would totally be in if it wasn't space marines only
Yeah i'd be up for some of that! Although It'd be some effort getting it done with my current shift patterns.
It would have to be themed like the painting competition though. You've got me thinking about stuff already!!
I'll see if JQ will let me borrow his system maybe, guys?
I don't really have an opinion, but the (excellent) painting compie run by Jon allows encourages converting. Indeed, a lot of the winning entrys have been converted. So I don't really see why a pure converting competition would be needed, since the original one covers both painting and converting.
