Looking good, nice white, pretty good shading, no blotching! All i can add is that the red could perhaps need another highlight? To make it pop a little more. That's it really. Good work!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

Looks really good. Nice job.

That Marine is just a notch over tabletop quality, you should be really proud of it (considering tabletop quality is good compared to my typical jobs). The only suggestions I'd throw out (only because I have the same problem with my Raven Guard) is to clean up some of the grey highlights, get them a little straighter. Anywhere your lines waver, try to clean them up with more grey or some black to take off the excess.
Otherwise, great mini!
Very nice. I think an army painted up like this will look impressive on the table. (That red is probably one of my all time favorite colors and the first one I used, painted up a Delaque Necromunda gang with it once upon a time).
It needs to be based, but you probably know that already.

nice work and good pick on the army you selected.

Very nice! The only thing I'd add other than touching up the grey highlights would be to drill out the boltgun barrel and base it. Can't wait to see more finished models.
