I've done a couple of searches here looking for advice on how to vanish or otherwise preserve paper banners once you're done painting them. I dimly remember my High Elves Army Book saying to apply varnish as per the rest of the model but since the book's been nicked and I can't find anything already here, I'm asking what's the best way to preserve lovingly painted paper banners?
Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

A spray varnish should work just fine. Apply several thin coats just as you would on the model itself.

Or else you could buy some fixative in a spraycan at your local hobby shop.
Its great stuff you can use it on your minis too instead of a varnish.
