I know a green stuff thread has probably been up about 1000 times but i need help with a project.
im gonna cut the legs of the space marine chaplain with jump pack:
Attaching them to a maraduer body Games Workshop
I would use green stuff to to smooth and fill in the gaps but it would be rough.
What i want to know is how you guys would do it. Anything yous would model to the waste to cover the blaitent gaps.
I don' think there'd be that much of a gap if you cut the chaplain in half with a modeling saw nice and straight. The biggest issue I think you'll come up against is that the marauder torso will be too big. I've used thm before on plastic marines and even then they looked a bit chunky. The jump-pack chaplain isn't a Jess Goodwin sculpt so its gonna be a bit weedy in the leg and waist department.
To cover it up tho, a little GS will work but then add on purity seals, grenades and pouches to hide anyhting that looks too wierd
DiW is right about the fantasy scale is slightly bigger then 40k scale. it should however turn out good. just need a little filing and green stuff.
