Anyone else considered making an Arvus Lighter from the valkyrie kit. For those who have seen both an Arvus and a valkyrie is the troop carrying main body roughly equivalent to the size of an Arvus Lighter? cheers

Don't think your gonna have much luck Jaffa. The Arvis is basically a little box with butterfly wings on the side. Its much squatter and fatter than the Valk chasis.
Anyway, man, why do you want to make an Arvis? They don't do anything. Would ALWAYS go a Valk over an Arvis for looks and game play. just my opinion tho.
Would it not be easier to make one out of plasticard? And then if you wanted several you'd have the plans already. Would seem a waste of a £60 kit when its a relatively simple shape
The Arvus only costs £50. It's a nice looking kit but i fail see the point of it unless
you just want it for a display model.
I AM BOOMER!
I made my Arvus out of City bits, plasticard and Dozer blades
I've only ever used it in Apoc games, and then just for giggles. It's effectively a double the price drop-pod for non-marines.
Size wise, the Arvus is about 50% smaller than the Valkyrie in my version. I went for roughly the size of a chimera hull, plus some wings.

I have too many armies to list in my signature!
Looks really good Pinky, even for an Arvus I think the general consensous is "why would you ever use an Arvus except as something to look at?"
If you've got a Valk, Jaffa, use it as a Valk, sooo much better
i was never of big fan of the arvus but yours looks pretty nice for scratch built work.
I am an Indestructible master of War.
I like the look of that Arvus. I think making an Arvus would be cool, it may also fit in well with your Sharpey bunch. It also looks better than the Valkyrie and it isn't so hard to spell either.
