I am looking to make my commander ride in a staff car german style ( the krieg hq command), but I was wondering is there any staff car that is the right scale, I was looking at an open topped 1/48 , but I am sure the models are a fair sight smaller than 1/48
so any tips as to how to model my commander standing in the back of an appropriately sized staff car?
I'm guessing 1/35 would be alright but someone else will need to conform.
you cna got 1/48 or 1/35. warhammer 40k scale in about the middle of them. i use a lot of 1/35 scale but sometimes i use 1/48. what you need to do is find a size chart your going to use and go from there. nice idea to. i was going to do that my self but i want to use a M151 jeep with machine gun. never got to it.

1/48 scale Steyr Type 1500A Kommandeurwagen. The models in the pictures are slightly smaller than DKOK models, but as you can see the car is quite large in comparison.
1/48 German Steyr Type 1500A Kommandeurwagen
nice idea. Only comment I would make is that to me DKoK is more WW1 than WW2. A staff car from the third reich like the one posted above would fit well with a steel legion army to me, which has a distinct air of a Panzer Division. A WW1 staff car would look more like...
What about a heavily centaur, or bits from the ork trukk kit? modded
the ww1 staff car is incredibly awesome but I fear would require a great deal of modeling and painting skill to pull off properly
I saw that steyr wagon on scale hobbyist, It was the one I had sited as my main target, it seems bulky enough that I could mod a command "station" in the rear of the car, and perhaps a gun servitor, and kriegman pilot ( a grenadier from the centaur model)
but I really really like the look of that ww1 wagon, gonna need to hunt for a 1/48 version
