I really like it!
If your looking for a model to play with then I think you have hit the nail on the head!
You highlighting looks good, on both the black of the body armour, and on the cape. Your colour is nice, and the base works really well as well.
Overall, really nice model!
I have hand tremors too and i can understand you perfectly, however that awsome m8!Keep it up and show us some more of your work!
Btw i think you used too much varnish, isnt he a bit too shiny?
Praise be to the Emperor!!
I have to say i think thats pretty nice painting, hand tremors or no, how did you get the nice shading on the tabard?
In all honesty that's a really nice model. Good job!

I go8t h3nd trem0rs to3, can1 you t2ell?
Awesome job man, will power for the win.
If your are really concern about the tremors, get a fly tier mount to hold the model and use your offhand to steady your painting hand.
Keep up the good work!
I thought this model looked cool enough unpainted! The sword looks so cool, I love the texture you gave the blade and the way you switched between white and brown on the handle is awesome as well. Leaves look great, highlights look great, and I can only assume you painted that cross on his stomach... Hand tremors or no, I say great job and let's see some more, eh?

Send me a hello if you remember me.
thats a clean lookin EC man, I would love to see him along side my crusade! Very nice on the armor btw, look very fitting for a warrior of that stature.

For the cloak, I used reaper paints over a black base coat..
I Thinned down Reaper Clotted Red with water.
Once the color was mostly dry, I applied a less thinned down Reaper Carnage Red, and pulled it away from the recesses.(Leaving the depths of the recesses Clotted red, and making the carnage red thicker towards the peaks.)
I then switched back to a GW color... Blood Red. I didn't thin it at all, and simply applied it a little way down the carnage red, and pulled it all the way onto the surface points..
pilot00. As to how shiny the model is.. The picture makes him look a lot shinier than he is. But yes he is shiny. Since this is the first BT I have sprayed that is wearing black armor, I did't know how shiny they would come out on camera.. The spray I am currently using seemed to work great for my ORCs.. giving them that shiny green skin, while not making their clothes too shiny..
I will probably revert to a less shiny clear cloat for the rest of my BT, and just use the BT as is.. He needs to look pristine.
Backdraft005: As to the fly mount.. what I have had to do since I never bothered buying one.. I hold the mini by the base with my left thumb, forefinger, and middle finger for stability and rotation. I then place my right hand, hammerfist side down onto the left palm. That is how I paint my minis.. That way, if the tremors start up twitching both hands move the same way at the same time... And if it is real bad, I don't mess up too much.
Thank you all for the positive feedback. I will deffinately post more when I get them finished.. Now that I know I am on the right track, I will deffinately find more motivation to work on them.
good job, man. the important things are that you used multiple colors AND you kept the paint within the borders. there are plenty of steady-handed painters who can't keep their models from looking like crazy abstract paintings--all globs of poorly coordinated colors. if this model didn't take too long, then keep it up!
