How do I strip my models?

I've tried to put my models in boiling water with the same cleaning cemical as I use when i wash the dishes, and then after some time tried to scrub the paint off, but alomst nothing came off. What shall i do to them? ( I don't have simple green, and I can't find a place to buy it)

    Thx

This is the best non simple green paint stripping guide on LO. It was in the painting forums.
