I like him, I have a similar model and thought about a color pattern like that, but decided on black legion. so you painted a whole army like him? can we see?
Very nicely done. I really like the subtle blends, and the shading is great.
My only gripes are:
1) Color choices. The reds look great, but having both a red cloak and red armor makes the mini look too monochromatic IMHO. The green SM helmet was a great choice for contrast, but perhaps a different color cloak (black/brown or something similar) may have made more of a "pop". I get that the fur is black, but another option may have been a balck cloak and a brown/tan fur pelt.
2) Base is a little pedestrian given the great mini quality, but perhaps you were just choosing to have it fit with the rest of the army.
Overall though, great job!
Marion: You're not the man I knew ten years ago.
Indiana: It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage.
For the last time, there are
NO FEMALE SPACE MARINES!!!!!
I have to agree about the colours, the red cloak and the armour is a little close match. Also the gold is a bit flat in some places. Still a solid model. That cloak is really cool.
Keep the paint diluted and thin :)

I like it, color scheme looks good to me.
Base could have had more UMPH, if ya know what I mean
Very cool looking. I like it.

damn, that is a really nice paint job, very clean and nice. great job on the head. definitely post pics of the rest of the army if you can and maybe a few bigger close-ups of this dude?
Really nice paint job, I for one actually like the red in red color scheme. This guy looks really good as is. The base is indeed a bit plain for such a nice commander model.
I 'd also love to see more of that army...
