What it is y'all (did I really just use y'all...UGH)
It is an out post tower, which means BOXES!!!!!
Hooray for that stuff.
If this doesnt make since, Im a little loopy right now as I got very little sleep last night, and decided to wake up very early this morning.
5x5 Tower, underneath is roughly 4.5x4.5
Enough to fit a squad of ten marines with some extra room.
Extra Sprues to give support, in both life and fluff, I hope.
Thats where people see, and shoot from, these will be glued to the image two up.
This is what brings it off the ground, kind of important if you need to be a tower

Good to see you have started, it amazing how quickly the time will pass! building the basic structure is the easy part!

Hey its all glued!
No pics for it as you cant see glue.
Last night after a big that woke me up I decided Id work some more on my tower, so it is painted, and I added some "camo" netting to the windowed areas.
Pictures will come in an edit later this evening.
I have struggled to spend time on mine this week, wouldnt it be funny if you were the only one to finish!!
AWWWW MY HAND HAVE BEEN ATTACKED MY THE EVIL TAMIYA SPRAY PAINT MONSTER!!!
The Roof of my structure
::How I did it::
-Took the foam core as the base and cut three pieces of pink foam-
-They unfortunately caused some gaps, so I filled that in with my beloved hot glue
-I then Painted it over with black spray paint (after a nice coating or two of my regulat white glue)
-I then took regular medical gauze covered the top, and trimmed took it out side 40 minutes ago and sprayed it.
::Tower portion shot 1::
=-Center portion where is the unit would enter the structure
-Most of the structure is made of foamcore, covered in atleast two layers of elmers glue, then sprayed in a cheap enamel spray paint I picked up at my local harware store for (.97USD)
-Took some tamiya green spray paint, and went over it in two different shades, (you can see the cans behind it)
::Tower portion shot 2::
-Using same spray as before I covered the structure.
-Using gauze at before I glue it over the openings and let sit for a day in a half (as you can see I have no pictures of the pre paint, and this shot reminds my to go unplug my glue gun)
-Took about 75% of my remaining GW black ink, and using a Q-tip covered both inside and out of the gauze with it, and I am waitng for it to dry.
-Took some goblin or snot green (which ever is brighter and messly went of the structure)
Shot with the roof on crooked
Much more to come, I still need boxes AWWW, as I dont count my tower as a box although it is a near perfect square/rectangle...
Good to see someone finished on time!
I have a suggestion for you (that I havent tried myself yet) your camo netting might benifit from some sort of foliage on the top, I have seen someone use dark coloured tea leaves sprinkled on top, looks quite good.
