I would like to build a cathedral for my WH/sob's. Searching the forum showed some good ideas, such as the hirst arts molds and the links to the GW cathedral made from CoD and planetstrike components.
I was wondering if anyone has found any pre-made cathedrals that have the right scale/look for 40k. Also, has anyone tried the hirst arts molds? I read the instructions for them, and they seem like they would be very very time-consuming, but they do look fantastic.
Armourcast make a good cathederal
Armorcast Resin Battlefield Scenery, Models & Terrain
Also the imperial ruins from miniature scenenry
Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
This sounds the ... not manliest... thing i've ever typed, however:
There is a 2 ft tall #Cough# Harry Potter #Cough# cathedral with stone gothic arched windows from the top to the bottom, that looks simply awsome. (Note, for clarification - the windows look good. not any of that nasty HP stuff.
I feel dirty.
however, that sort of thing may prove to be a goldmine.
good find, stays crunchy. i'll look into it.
i personally have found making my own lends the flexibvility for size and dimensions, bt also for personalizing,
from lots of gears for my mechanicus army, to more windows for firepoints.
Rome wasn't built in a day, Either should good scenery.
Stayscrunchy, can you give a more specific name or source for the Harry Potter model? I've had no luck trying to find it by means of google (all lego sets, die cast hogwarts trains etc).
Pegasus games Gothic small building 1 & 2 are churchy, combine the kits or add in the large gothic building and you can make a cathedral as big as you like. the kits can be put together in any way as everything is reversable and the kits can be combined. easy to assemble and it snaps together and will hold without glue.
May the "Nurgley Goodness" protect you!
