Welcome to Librarium Online!
Evening all, just wanted to ask a quick question. Im starting a Space Marine army and im going to use a custom colour scheme. The armour will be a mix of Vermin and Vomit brown and i was just wondering what colour to paint the weapons?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Just think what goes well with brown.
Try a few colors and see your favourite.
Vampire Counts Progress Log [W:2 D:1 L:1]
Go with something that wouldn't stick out too much so people don't focus on the gun.
"They say the Darkness consumes you. They don't say what happens after It's done."
i paint SM guns black
takes the focus off them but also helps the emblems on them stand out when you take the time to paint them
IMO, black is to close to brown (if you dont paint really light brown) If they are to close match they will bled together. Bleached bone might work, but use a darker wash for shading and maybe some white for highlights
I prefer all my guns to be realistically bland of color. Brown straps, Boltgun metal bits with Tin bitz and paint the Screws in Mithril. Do a wash of Badab Black and you're good to go.
well for the sake for the argument, I have not seen a modern weapon (used in army's) have a silver/metallic colour. I'm not sure way the 40K should turn back to the time of muskets...
