I've had this idea floating around in my head for a while now, and with the release of the Ironclad model I finally got to make a start on him. I'd say it's about 80% done in terms of the conversion - just have to sort out the sarcophagus front and work on all the detailing - the seismic hammer needs cables, pipes etc, and the left foot needs neatening up, but he is getting there.
Comments and critique are always welcome. See what you think:
The drill arm is excellent, and i really like how you've repositioned the left leg, very well done. Not 100% about the seismic hammer being held in the dccw though, I always think of it as an integrated bit of kit, but as you said its not finished. Looking forward to seeing it complete. Nice work ! I dont have the stones to chop about models like this.
Jager bombs. Very efficient at wiping out friend or foe.
Ask me about the Black and White Space Marine on the Black and White Bike!!!
Ha! A pretty awesome job there! I quite like the drill, personally, and that hammer looks suitably smashy to me.
I'll have to keep watching, see how this guy turns out. Thanks for posting him!
Now that's a dread that will punch through a wall!
Im not a huge fan of the deads holding an over sized Hammer, but this one looks good. " spinny bit " i think it's called drill thread, correct me if im wrong
