I'm thinking of converting the plastic Chaos Terminator Lord into Typhus with liberal amounts of green stuff, but I'm wondering whether I should position the scythe in both hands across the torso or in one hand. On the plus side, having his arms open will let me show off some detail on the torso, but I don't know what to do with the other arm. I could clip the bolter off one, but that just leaves a closed, badly detailed fist, and the only other option that comes with the kit is a lightning claw. I want to avoid the obvious answer of having him hold a head in his other hand, which would solve the problem but has been done before (in white dwarf no less!) So, does anyone have any ideas?
I think you should build it like the Art work in the Chaos Codex. Scythe in one hand and decaying Guardsmen in t'other. It looks pretty dynamic.
I'd give him an open hand like off the libraian in termiator armour. He is a powerful psycher after all you could have him casting a spell over the battle field.
An idea comes to mind tho not sure how you would model it. Have a cloud of flies comming out of his open hand. Have you seen the manga Vampire Hunter D? D has a face in his hand and that would look really cool to have that spewing out flies.
Like I said, don't know how you would model it tho, may have to be a lot of GS work
i had the same idea as monkey... an open hand like he's casting a spell
