i have recently purchased the really big lot of paints (the 125 pounds box)
and i am completly stomped on a colour scheme for my new dwarf army.
(i am doing all the lists from the apendix)
i am now doin the royal clan.
i really do like the look of the cream and bronze scheme but i am not sure if it will go with that overall royal look i am going for.
help me please!!!
thanks in advance

Like you say 'cream',try using the core colours like red, green or blue with white or cream. This gives a very royal feal. To the models personaly i would do only the trim in the chosen colour. The colours can even differ per unit.
The poster formaly known as VampireSoul, formaly known as OrkSlugga now known as Orkslugga.
I personally prefer to let the Empire and Bretonnia prance around in girlie colors like red and yellow and white.
Dwarves, however, look much better when they are done in earthy colors. Try using the whole range of browns and darker metallics like tin bitz and boltgun metal.
For the highest ranking lords and hero's, it's nice to go with gold armor, but tone the shinyness down by using a chestnut wash.
