Ok, so I got the modelling project idea to build a mega armored Ork Warboss from a dreadnought. Went to the store, picked up a few kits and Tiny was born.
I'll snap more pictures tomorrow if people would like, I just did these quickly in the dark with a desktop lamp. Not sure I'm completely happy with the claw but I think it turned out ok. Gonna leave cckpit unassembled even after painting, torso pinned and arms are not glued down, so Tiny has more fexibility than my other dreads/warbosses.
Never seen anyone do a dread to boss conversion, took several hours, especially working the guitar string into submission, making the boss' body, and sawing up parts. Critique and criticism more than welcome!
IMO He needs more gubbins, He still looks a lot like a dread.
I made this guy 4 years ago out of a metal dread with bits cut from the 1st ed blood thirster model.
I was copying the idea from a beautifuly converted badmoon dread boss (his was much better). Its not something thats seen to often, but they always seem to be well received.
He looks pretty awesome. I'd some something similar myself using Dreadnought arms and Legs I got from a friend for free, but I have to say your conversion looks more like an actual Dread / Big Mega Armoured Boss, rather than a Boss with Cybork Arms.
Judging from the second pic down where you can see in the Cockpit thing, it'd be cool if you left it exposed and had some arms controlling the Dred Arms. I'm thinking the Stormboy ones that look like Joysticks?
Either way, very impressive!

Thanks guys, I gubbinz'd him up a bit and weahered some edges. Here he is now and shot with a normal sized boss.
Seems almost done, any thoughts on what to add?
Looking good, but that engine doesn't look nearly crude enough to be Orky... Maybe add some more exhaust, pipes and cables? Think like the Skullhamma!
That model exemplifies why Mega Armor has Slow and Purposeful. It's also very awesome. :]

Thanks! He seems done, havn't added anything to him. I was considering turning him into a walking junkyard but the looted dread becoming the boss' new toy was more appealing. Will slap a coat of paint on him when I get time, hope you guys are interested to see him then!
I like him.
