So i was bored and thinking of cool things to make and wondered what other people think of them. Im considering trying to make a transport half track like the old german ww2 things, then putting some DKOK models in them. Also got bored and thought an attack jeep might be interesting with a heavy stubber on the back and maybe something for the passenger guy, as some kind of fast attack choice. I figured i could take the plastic that bitz come on and use that to make a cool frame and then find spare tank parts and what not to make stuff out of.
Hmmm...for a jeep, I think the ork's might have some neat bitz you could use, truck-y bitz....The space marine bikers have suitably ginormous 'eavy duty wheels...
I remember some while ago, I think it must've been back when GW had a site, there was a bunch of converted Rough Riders they we're showing off, some Cadians riding motorbikes. Pretty sweet looking. Don't know what my point was, though...
i was thinking of trying to get ahold of the old ork buggy or truck or w.e its called. I remember my friend has some old orcsand he has alot of this small things that look jeep like. though it would have to be modified a lot to look guard like.
nice i was considering that with the two speeders i got for free, now that i see how it looks i might have to go with that plan. Thanks for the pics also.
Link to an old thread it did. It's an Imperial Guard Troop transporter truck thing based on an ork Truck.
If you're after a decent looking Jeep simply don;t make the troop compartment on the back and cut the chasis so it's only got 1 set of back wheels. Easy
for the jeep i dont think ill use the ork thing, but in GW today i saw the ork half track and wa slike WOAH i can seriously fix that, so for my half track i think i will be chopping and converting it to look more guard like. So it should be somewhat similiar to that model you showed me, that was the general idea i got in GW today.
