Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well this will be my first time painting miniatures in quite a long time. I'm not very experienced with different painting techniques [I can dry brush and understand the concept of highlighting]. So I don't want something that will prove to be too complex for me but I do want my models to look good from close up [I'm a perfectionist].
I would like to go with purple as my primary colour and either dark blue or black as my secondary colour, I also want my Elves to be pale skinned.
I'm not too sure what paints I'll need to buy or what undercoat I'll need to use. So I'm turning to you lovely people for some advice =].
Could you please tell me what undercoat, paints and washes I'll need to buy.
Oh just so you know what I'll be painting.
Well, this is quite tricky... send me a Pm or post here some more details. Do you want them quite dark and gloomy? Do you want dark purple, light purple? The skin shaded with a pale blue purple or brown?

I want to have a colour edge to the armour if it isn't too difficult like these CoK. But I'd like it in purple, perhaps quite bright on the very edge of the armour going to dark purple and black for the majority of the armour plates.

I'd like to use the skin colour of these witch elves for my army. I'd also like to use that same dark purple for my army.
I'm not sure what other colour would go with the purple.
Also the only time I want to use silver is for the blades of my soldiers.
Sorry if I'm hard to understand, I find it it quite hard to explain things.
Well that black/blue looks really simple, I'd say black then Edge Highlight with Fenris grey. If you want to do a highlight after that do, shadow grey. if you want it more blue then i'd say midnight blue.
For the skin, i'd say it's 1:2 Bronzed flesh:white Then Shaded up to pure white going 1:3 flesh:white, 1:4 and finally probably 1:5
