Comments: I love the use of colors for this miniature.. As well as the basing.. It looks outstanding.
The highlights and blending are a thing to aspire to..
Criticism: The peg that the disk is on looks out of place.. Maybe using a clear Flyer peg, or build the base up to it with a slim jagged rock outcropping.
But that criticism is trivial to the magnitude of the work done...
Yeah I really like the purple and blue, don't see that to often.
Is that Archaon's base?

I like him David. The colours are unusual and make him stand out, I'm glad you finally finished him. *pushes towards LOCs* I agree with the others in your blog, the disk looks a little unloved. But otherwise, awesome work as usual.
Fine work. The colors complement each other well. I like it.

I like this model very much! I love the mix of colors on him. They work very well. He looks evil and I think think you're a genius by making the disc and base dark but still detailed which makes him look even more evil. It's one thing that is annoying me and that is the brown wristband which looks out of place. I'm not sure which color I would like to have there instead.. hmm.. I would say black.
I'm impressed. Awesome job. Have a +rep.
I can't claim too much originality for the color. As for purple, teal and magenta are the classic complements. "Serious" painters here at Reaper joke about it. The other option was to drab out the inner cloak with black or white.
I'm proud of actually painting his one visible eye. I never do eyes. Well, rarely do eyes. And the fire looks cool from the side. And I managed to do the ring in a gemstone fashion.
Now if I can do justice to the BSB disc rider, I'll be happy.
Paint wise I think it looks good. I would hit it with a flat varnish as there are areas that are awfully reflective in the pictures. The base looks cool.
