Anyone know where i can buy any from. I am planning to use them as storm shields for my Space Wolfs.
Or are they easy to make, and how?
Wargames Foundry produces Viking shields. They are very expensive though.
FOUNDRY make the best small metal cast models for gamers, collectors and painters. choose your region...
Gripping beasts in England also produces them.
Old glory in the USA are the most affordable.

Heres one I made for my Wolves out of plasticard:
It's basically a plastic disc (a lfying base can work, I used a shaved down Tau drone) with think plasticars stripping for the planks on the face and the thick plasticard stripping for the trim. Needs a bit of GS at the join in the trim but otherwise its pretty easy.
Otherwise, take a look at the Beastman kits, they have a fair few wooden shields that are more oval than round but still look really good.
