Hey all, I was looking round and was wondering how you guys paint ork teef. These are the teeef that you find on the face masks and on barricades etc. I want a nice rusted or worn red look. Thanks
Hi, for that sort of look you'd want to start off by building up layers of dark red, and drybrushing on browns around the edges. A mix of Vermin Brown, Boltgun Metal, Red Gore and a little orange should do the trick. Washes of Black and Brown would make it look even more worn. Chipping can look quite good on ork metal. To do this, paint a small area with a dark brown, and add a metal colour on top of this, leaving room for the brown to show. For highlights try Vermin Brown mixed with Macharius Solar orange.
Excellent, thanks! Will try this when I buy my new detail brush!
