Just a boring Guard Command Squad. Not finished yet but i felt that i had to put something up seeing as i put finished modelling pics up weeks ago lol. the are WIP pics though, I've still got lots of highlighting to do and some metalics still to do.
What do you think i should do with the shields?? They look plain at the moment but if i do do something there i'm worried that the model may look to 'busy'. I'm still deciding on what to do with the left shoulder pad. Unit marking maybe? I'm think a skull with a sword through it to represent the 'HQ' symbol.
Anything else i should add?
Hopefully i'll be updating this with finished pics soon. However i've got my pre-Games day "geek day" as we call it which involves booze and toy soldiers so don't expect anything this weekend
Hope you like.

Awesome job! Are those shoulder eagles freehand?
Rep for you.
Edit: On second glance they do. They look really good!

Yeah they are, It took me half an hour to do each one!!! It felt like my eyes were bleeding after i'd done them.
I had to go and do some drybrushing to let my eyes recover lol.
There's 7 different stages on those Eagles. Hopefully they'll distract peoples attention from the Black whic didn't turn out great.
Very good work on those minis and incredible freehand.
A little tip: you could buy one of those magnifiers that come on a flexible stand. They aren't too expensive (10-20€) and will really help you with minute details.
Necron Army Building Maxima: Beware of Phase Out
Some real special modelling and painting, the guard models are some of my favorite produced by GW. Very impressed.
Dark eldar- 3-4-0
LEMT: Thats a good idea and i'd not thought of that. I know a few people that use them. Maybe i'll look into that I hate the idea of using them......to me it's a sign of getting old lol
MATUS: Aye fair enough. I'll paint the details on the shoulders and then make my mind up.
PAINTACTICS: Cheers mate
Really nice, very threatening just like imperial guard should be. If i was a heretic and saw them coming at me i'd shit my pants, put down my Tzeentch voodoo doll and sacrifice myself to Khorne.
Maybe put imperial eagles or warning signs on the shield faces.
